- Ok I made a new personal best in the 1/4 mile. (12.05 @ 117.7 MPH) I'm really happy with it but I did noticed that I have boost drop off at higher RPMs. I start at 24-25psi and by redline it drops to 21-22psi. 2 weeks ago I figured out I had lots of small boost leaks (vacuum hoses) and fixed...
- The transmission has shifted to a higher gear causing a drop in rpm. or if its worse case scinereo ie... the rpm goes dead (to 0) and comes back after a bit the cable to your tranny has been ...
- Apr 10, 2020 · Thomas Barwick/Taxi/Getty Images CarsDirect identifies three of the most common problems that cause a car to switch off while a person is driving: broken or worn vacuum hoses, faults in the fuel intake system or an electrical wiring problem.
- Regarding changing lanes while freeway driving, after you have changed into your desired lane You are driving down a two-lane road at 45 mph. The oncoming vehicles right wheels drop off When driving at night, you are less likely to get in a fatal accident because there are less drivers at night.
- I'll just be sitting there and all of a sudden I hear a deep rumble and I look and I can see my RPM's recovering from 400...Almost like a stall is going to happen. How many miles? Have you ever cleaned your throttle bodies? Mine would drop rpm's sometimes for no apparent reason.

May 03, 2012 · A sound i cannot seem to notice myself.. my cars been bogging down recently and on occasion i just have no power when i want to accelerate. This morning after my car got warmed up and i took off for class i went to shift into third gear and my rpms tanked. Of course I've been compensating for this RPM drop all day. If there are no misfire codes, a common cause of acceleration stumble is a bad throttle position sensor (TPS). The TPS tells the computer how far the throttle is open. The computer uses this information to determine how much fuel is needed to maintain the correct air/fuel mixture and when extra fuel is needed if the throttle suddenly opens wide. Granted, the dropped frames were not constant, and only appeared to happen for a total of maybe a minute total over a 34 minute video. I use NVENC because x264 tends to lag not only my final video, but my computer as a whole, and when I lower it to a CBR that doesn't do that, the video quality just...Oct 03, 2020 · This is why cars need to be maintained properly. For example, If your car is losing power while you are driving, it is possible that there is a problem with acceleration. There are many reasons why this can happen. You might not have enough fuel or there might be a problem with the electricity supply to the engine. Snapping the throttle and getting a drop to 0 and then a climb to only say 20-22 will possibly indicate worn rings. Basically, if it only snaps to about where it was or just a hair above, you may be dealing with worn piston rings. It should snap temporarily higher (3-4 inches or so) and then settle back. thanks for the link. But the problem isn't about my idle. While I am driving at around 5000 or whatever RPM, the RPM would just slowly decrease. When I step on the gas trying to accelerate, it wouldn't accelerate. I tried dropping gears, the RPM would just jump up and continue dropping from that point.
